The kids...

Logan and Jaycee are getting so big I can't believe it.  Logan started preschool this year and is loving it.  I do a co-op preschool with 3 other moms.  I have really enjoyed my time with them.  I love to see them interact and discover new things!!!  Logan is now 3 1/2 and will turn in April.  He talks all the time and is always asking questions.  When I put him to bed I always tell him he needs to sleep so he can grow big and tall.  The other day he said "mom if you and daddy don't grow how come you still sleep?"  kids are funny.  He also said one day when the sun was shinning in his eyes, that "the sun had jalapenos in it and was burning him" this kid cracks me up and he will always be my little buddy no matter how big he grows I love him so much.

Jaycee is a handful.  She is for sure all girl and I love it.  She is a VERY messy eater and if she is done with her food it goes on the floor.  She loves the word no and not only says it but screams it.  She loves shoes, babies and hats.  she doesn't care what it is...Logan's shorts a onsie or blanket it goes on her head. The other day she was walking around the house with a bating suit on over her clothes because she insisted I put it on her.  She is walking and talking all over the place and we love her so much.

Jared had been busy at work and enjoying life at its normal pace again.  Both the kids get so excited when he comes home from work.  They both run to the door yelling "daddy" to give him hugs and kisses at the door.  Life is good :)

Jaycee eating one of her favorite pass times :)

Logan painting to music for a craft we did one day at preschool. He said his painting made him feel angry.  We talked about feelings that day.

The top photo is what we would like to get when we tell Jaycee to smile, the bottom photo is usually what we get as she says "cheeeeeeese"

Halloween Logan was a pirate so I made Jaycee a parrot, so much fun can't wait until next year :)

We went to Bishops pumpkin patch, this was in the corn maze.  Logan had a blast running through it.

Love this, he has gotten so big!!!

About time!!!

Wow it has been forever sense I have blogged ;)  I keep seeing all my friends blogs and thinking I should start again, it is a great way to record our life for family to see.

We have been up to so much I am not sure where to start.  So I decided to start where I left off (sort of).  It has been almost a year since my last round of chemo, A YEAR!!!  I can not believe it has gone by so quick :)  I meant to blog all during my chemo and keep people posted but I was just not up for it, even sitting at the computer for a long period of time was hard.  So here is my story, chemo SUCKED!!!  Yup really, that's my experience all summed up.  In all seriousness this experience has changed my life, has given me a new appreciation for not only the people that go through chemo but their families around them.  So here are he before during and after pictures of my journey.

Please scroll fast through the first one, or not ;)  I really struggled whether I should post this picture or not but in the end I figured I would want to see, so here you go.

Horrible I know but this is where I was at right before chemo, plus I had the same size tumor in my chest.  CRAZY!!! keep scrolling it gets better I promise :)

This was during, I could never get used to wearing a wig, so when I was out and about I would wear hats mostly and some times scarves.  The be honest I really never saw my self as this bald, but looking back at pictures I think wow that looks so strange. Did you notice, no tumor, yippee!!!  I took about 1 month (2 treatments) for it to be fully gone.

And the end, Jared and I decided to take a quick trip to Vegas alone after all was said and done. Tawnie and Kendra came and watch the kids.  It was so wonderful to be all done and feeling better!!!

That is pretty much it, life has almost gone back to normal now.  I have check ups every 3 months but coming up they will move me to every 4 months.  Kind of feels like I am graduating or something.  I still get nervous before check ups and wonder, am I eating okay, did I do every thing I could to keep my self healthy.  So on to bigger and better things for me and my family.  Thanks for all those prayers and everyone who helped out in every way through all of this.  You have no idea how much it means to me and I have no way of showing how truly grateful I am for those that supported me through this.

xoxo
